Welcome to the Bay Adventurer, the newest quality backpackers in the Bay of Islands which opened in December 2001. We are more than just a backpackers - with our extensive range of facilities we are a true Backpackers Resort.

The hostel features 13 rooms - dorms sleeping six, dorms sleeping four, family rooms sleeping six, double rooms sleeping two couples and double rooms. Facilities include cheap kayaks, free tennis, free bikes, free pool and spa, tropical gardens, BBQ, outside dining on large terrace, fully equipped modern kitchen, laundry, large lounge, open fire, CD system, email and internet facilities. Departing from Paihia wharf (4 minutes walk) are island drop offs, dolphin watching trips, sailing, diving, fishing, para sailing, hole-in-the-rock cruises and ferries to Russell.

Also nearby is Waitangi National Reserve, an 18-hole golf course, walking tracks and Haruru Falls.
