Braemar House YHA, is a restored historic homestead located on the banks of the Whanganui river. It is close to the city centre and tourist attractions. We offer camping facilities, bike storage, wireless internet, barbque, sunloungers and a large sub tropical garden to relax in.We have in house access to Hostelling International forward booking facilities and YHA travel desk. Ask about our family room (ensuited) sleeps six adults.The paddle steamer passes daily in front of the hostel and the famous Mail Run and River City Tours, picks up daily as required from the front of the Hostel.
This is a very comfortble, laid back, centrally heated hostel and if you want to unwind, totally relax, and feel at home, then this is the place for you.
Our kitchen is great for those who like to cook, you name it we have the utensils.
